My Pick of the Week!

Read a great book last weekend! Key Lime Pie Murder by Joanne Fluke. It's part of a great mystery series (I've read them all) and this book is just as great as the others. I would say it a cozy mystery, not a lot of gruesome details, but as with her other books you won't figure out the killer until the end of the book. The story takes place in small town Minnesota. Hannah Swenson, the owner of a cookie store, once again seems to stumble upon a body, this time while judging baked goods at a fair. Will Hannah and her helpful friends and family be able to solve Willa's murder. Will Hannah finally decide between Norman, the town dentist, and Mike one of the local police officers!

One of my favourite parts of this series are the great recipes for cookies, cakes, squares etc. Not only do you get to read a great book, but you can also do some baking. My favourite recipe is for Cappuccino Royales (page 166) - what could be better than chocolate and coffee together!

Have you read this book or others in the series. What did you think? What was your favourite recipe? Read any other good books lately, I would love to hear from you.
