Manhattan prosecutor, Alexandra Cooper is back again in Bad Blood by Linda Fairstein. In this legal thriller, Alexandra is in the middle of a trial involving an upscale Manhattan businessman, Brendan Quillian, charged with murdering his wife, Amanda. An explosion in water tunnel #3 rocks the trial in more ways than one. Is Amanda's death related to the Quillian's family past which had deep roots in the underwater construction business? Fairstein certainly knows the legal twists and turns since she was for 25 years a prosecutor of crimes of sexual assault and domestic violence as head of the Sex Crimes Unit of the District Attorney's Office in Manhattan.
