Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeffry P. Lindsay will have you cheering for a serial killer working by day as a blood-spatter expert in the Miami Police Department. Dexter’s foster sister, Deborah Morgan, works in Vice and desperately wants to be transferred to Homicide. The Miami Police are trying to capture a serial killer on the loose who cuts up his victims. The killer is on Dexter’s radar and he feeds Deborah information that may solve the case. The story is narrated by witty Dexter and has recently been brought to life on the Showtime Network. A different twist to the serial killer genre.
