Conquering the Impossible: My 12,000 mile Journey around the Arctic Circle by Mike Horn
In 2002 Mike Horn, a South African adventurer set out to travel 12,000 miles around the globe at 75 degrees latitude. This memoir reads like a suspense novel and is a real page turner! Mike runs into all kinds of trouble for example, fires (in his tent and (sailboat), encounters with polar bears, frostbite, and bureaucratic delays
due to expired visas. The book is divided into 8 chapters and Mike’s wonderful writing style makes for an exciting and inspirational read.
