 Once Around the Track acclaimed southern writer Sharyn McCrumb's latest novel, invokes a NASCAR setting, as did her previous book St. Dale.  Here she chronicles the adventures of the first all-woman owned NASCAR team that hires a shy, "pretty" male driver, Badger Jenkins. Badger’s a very popular choice among the women owners AND crew. With a female version of Viagra for a sponsor and Badger’s evil manager trying to thwart the team’s efforts, there’s a wild ride both on and off the track for the team, the driver, and the reader.  A great summer read!
