Wednesday's Pick!
If you want to read a roller coaster thriller why not try Ian Rankin's Witch Hunt.
Rankin is the best selling thriller writer in the U.K. The explosion of two pleasure crafts that take place in France and the U.K within minutes of each other draw in both security services to look for a common thread. The British security services call in a retired operative, Dominic Elder to help solve the case. Both authorities wonder if a series of terrorist attacks that have occurred over the years are the work of a single brilliant agent co-named "witch". This time she seems to want to be noticed and an upcoming summit in London of seven heads of state might be her venue. What I liked best about this thriller was the twists and turns in the plot and the double cross that happens in the end. This action packed thriller will please fans of Rankin as well as readers of Lecarre and Len Deighton.
