My Pick of the Week!

To the Tower Born by Robin Maxwell

For over 500 years, historians have been debating about what happened to England’s “little princes”. Were young princes Edward and Richard murdered viciously in The Tower of London by their uncle King Richard III? Many authors from Shakespeare on have depicted history this way. Here, historical author Robin Maxwell has created a very different yet plausible plot. Maxwell has researched the period thoroughly and there is plenty of interesting historical detail to keep the reader fully immersed in the times. The plot is quick moving and intricate - it has to be to provide any true depiction of English court life in the year 1483! A very enjoyable read.

Let me know what you have been reading this long and snowy winter!
