Summer Reading!

It's the first day of summer and what a beautiful day!  There was a great article in last weekend's Globe and Mail about what books authors had on their reading list for the summer season :

Fiction, non-fiction, classics or new releases-- it doesn't matter what your preference is, the summer seems to be about reading for pleasure.   I cracked open my first summer read this past weekend: Freedom by Jonathan Franzen.  It's been very popular this past year thanks to Oprah who chose it as one of her final picks.  A chunky novel of 576 pages, I do hope I finish it by Fall!
