Ice Trap by Kitty Sewell

This debut suspense novel tells the tale of a Welsh doctor, David Woodruff who receives a letter from a thirteen year old girl claiming that he is her father.
The clincher is that David hated this child’s mother, nurse Sheila Hailey and doesn’t remember having had sex with her.
David returns to the small town in the North West Territories where he worked as a doctor in 1992 to try and solve this puzzle. Lots of twists and turns in the plot and some quirky characters make this a real page turner. Sewell’s second novel Blood print is coming out in February 2009.
